"For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God."

– Romans 8:14

Here I Am God

Do you ever have those moments where you finally feel as though you are right where you should be? Everything seems to just click into place when your mind begins to grasp the idea that you are able to fulfill your purpose on this world. It truly is an indescribable experience, but I'm going to try and explain it as best I can.

Despite being over 2300 miles away from my own bed, I couldn't have felt more at home during my stay at Liberty University. A full day of travel on Wednesday left me pretty exhausted and irritable, but as soon as I felt that 75 degree temperature hit me at 11:30 at night I knew things would be just fine. I was met with welcoming smiles and as soon as my bags were in the trunk, we were off to Liberty.

A short drive from the airport to the dorm I would be staying at didn't give me much time to contemplate the thought of staying with two complete strangers for a few days, but it didn't bother me too much. I was led to the room I would be staying in for the weekend and met my two roommates. Both guys were really welcoming and hospitable and I knew things would go smoothly as I climbed up into that top bunk for some much needed sleep (something I haven't done in years)

The next day I was able to take in some of the campus and see a few of the buildings I would have to know when I came back in the fall. It was all a little overwhelming at first but a certain easiness came about me as I walked the paths throughout campus.

I was finally here. After months of prayer and many important decisions, I was finally at the campus I had been seeking. Where people were welcoming and approachable, prayer was said before each class, and God was the focus of students and faculty alike. It was a campus that was designed to give God the glory above all else, and I felt a peace above all understanding as I looked out on my new school.

I know that my God is going to provide me with many different opportunities to share His love and all that He has done for me and I honestly couldn't be more excited. My prayer for you is that in whatever path you may be on, that you find true enjoyment and fulfillment in wherever you are at. Don't live a life free of something to be passionate about, because that is hardly a life at all.
