"For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God."

– Romans 8:14

Day Seven: I Am With You

Another Monday morning in Cambodia finds the team physically, emotionally, and spiritually drained. We've all had a long week of hard work, spiritual battles, and heart-breaking encounters but we've officially made it one week in Cambodia.

Monday morning we gathered together with the staff that works at the YWAM base here in Battambang as well as a group from New Zealand currently in a Discipleship Training School (DTS). Every monday the base staff and any others that want to join worship together as a body of believers.

The service was a really awesome experience to witness and really showed the excitement of the staff and Cambodian people to worship Christ.

It's always interesting to think about how much of a cultural barrier there can be on mission trips but it always disappears when we start to worship Jesus. Our prayers flow seamlessly together, our voices raised in song echo the same praises, our hearts are all focused on lifting the name of the One true King higher.

The Bible says in Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them." This verse continues to ring true while we serve here in Cambodia. Whether you are worshipping in a large church with loud speakers and colorful lights or under a tin roof in Cambodia, God is at work and His presence has been established.

Please continue to pray for the team and everyone that we are coming in contact with. Pray that seeds are planted and that God will continue to provoke in them a Spirit that desires the truth. God is Good.

Day Eight: Healing the Broken

Day Six: The Passion of His People.
